William Loper ScottWilliam Loper Scott was born on September 23, 1932, in Magnolia, DE the fifth of 10 children born to Edith and Wayman Scott, Sr. He departed this life surrounded by family on June 3, 2017. He received his early education in the Kent County School System where he met his wife Mary Maloy from which they had three children, Sheldon, Jeffrey and Rachel. William graduated from Delaware State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 1958. He also studied at the Universities of Pennsylvania and Maryland. William served proudly in the US Army & Reserves until his Honorable Discharge in November 1961.Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 10, at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 883 Lincoln St., Dover, DE.
