William Heckler, 93, of Elkins, West Virginia, passed away on October 6, 2024. Born on May 11, 1931, William lived a long and fulfilling life. He was known for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering generosity. A beloved member of the community, William will be remembered for his dedication to helping others and his cheerful demeanor. He was a pillar of strength and wisdom, always ready to lend a listening ear or a helping hand. William's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He is survived by his 5 children, 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends at Toblyn Funeral home of elkins on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 12:30 PM.
