Jeffery Barr Sr., beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on February 9, 2026, in West Huntington, West Virginia, United States.

Jeffery was born on November 13, 1958, to George Barr and Thelma Cook. He was married to Kathy Chandler Barr in 1975 and together they raised four children: Jeffery (spouse Cathy), Kristi (spouse Andy), Stephanie (spouse Jeremy), and Brian (spouse Elicia). He also leaves behind three cherished grandchildren.

Jeffery attended Mountain State Christian School and graduated in 1975. He went on to have a successful career as a master electrician at Soles Electric, retiring in 2020.

Aside from his work, Jeffery had a passion for playing Santa Clause during the holidays. He brought joy to many children in the community with his festive spirit and kindness.

Jeffery will be remembered for his loving nature, dedication to his family, and his infectious laughter. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
