Viola (Bobbie) Pope, 97, of Harrison, Tennessee, passed peacefully at home on Saturday, July 18, 2020. Viola was born July 19, 1922 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was married to Everett Bryan Pope, Jr. in 1939, residing in Chattanooga, Hixson and Harrison, TN. 

Viola is preceded in death by her husband Bryan Pope, sister Helen Holland and brothers Mike, Francis and Eugene Borders.

Viola is survived by three sons: Paul Pope (Donna) of Winter Haven, FL , Nick Pope (Janice) of Ooltewah, TN and Clifford Pope (Jane) of Harrison, TN and her sister Irene Farrar of Eureka, CA. 

Viola is also survived by ten grandchildren: David Pope (Diane), Jeff Pope (Theresa), Lisa Pope Duncan (David), Kelly Pope Mathers (Blake), Suzanne Pope Lemery (Chad), Theresa Pope Leutz (Rusty), Jenny Pope Sloan (Doug), Jason Pope (Lindsey), Amy Pope Allen (Mike) and Adam Pope (Cortney).

Viola was blessed to have twenty great grandchildren: Greg Pope, Jessica Pope, Kristyn Englar, Ryan Englar (Stacey), Bailee Mathers, Shelby Sloan, Jolee Sloan, Will Sloan, Everett Allen, Matthew Leutz, Alex Pope, Alee Pope, Morgan Pope, Dylan Lemery, Barrett Pope, Jordan Pope, Bryson Lemery, Ames Pope, Declan Pope and Toby Pope and one great great grandchild, Jayden Daniels. 

A private ceremony will be held in the future.
