Tommie was born July,8th 1942 to parents Elnor Jackson and Martha McGlothin in Marion Alabama. He attended Lincoln Normal High School before relocating to Long Beach, California in 1965. Once arriving in California he secured a job position at Harbor UCLA Medical Center where he worked for more than 25 years. He was called home on February 15th, 2019 after suffering from multiple health issues. He leaves to cherish his memory, his best friend and love of his life Estella Wilson, his two brothers James McGlothin of New York, Flyod-Charliemae Mcglothin of Marion Alabama, his two sisters Sarah McGlothin of Marion Alabama, and Alice Hedgemon of Tuscaloosa Alabama, his Uncle Son of Clevland Ohia and Aunt Mary of Marion Alabama, his daughters Claretha-Thomas McGilveary, Leatha-James Randle of Fortworth Texas,Tyesha-Alfred Maselli, and Cynthia-Richard Young of Long Beach Californina. He loved and cared for so many but these individuals held a special place in his heart Sherman Davidson of Long Beach California, Angela Evans of Tuscaloosa Alabama , Cayman Young and Rajah Brown of Long Beach California, and 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren as well as a host of neices and nephews.
