Oral PotterClinton, TNOral Potter, age 81 of Rocky Top, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born on January 18, 1936 to the late Henry and Martha Howard Potter in Jackson, KY. He was a successful businessman who owned several service stations during his lifetime. He enjoyed farming and tending his cattle. He loved his family, especially his grandkids and great-grandkids. He was a giving man who loved life and loved people. He was of the Baptist faith and will be dearly missed.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Granville Potter, Cecil Potter, Patrick Potter, J.B. Potter, and Freeman Potter.He is survived by his son Larry Potter and wife Jeane, daughter, Sid Brewer and husband Duan, brothers Lou Potter, Dexter Potter and wife Irene, sister Alice Mooney and husband Tom, grandchildren, Jessica Bealer and husband Frank, Jason Braden and wife Maria, Great-Grandchildren, Micah, Isaac, Layla, James, Megan, Bryce, Cailey, and Maddieloving step-daughter, Kim Glandon and children Dillon Glandon and Haley Glandon, and a host of other family and friendsThe family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Rocky Top on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 6-8pm.
