With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ofelia Rhodes on May 18th, 2023. She was born on January 10th, 1935, in Roanoke, Alabama, United States, to her parents Robert Rhodes Sr. and Mary Rhodes.

Ofelia leaves behind her three children Kendall, Kathy, and Tina. She was a devoted mother, always putting her family first, and a doting grandmother to her four grandchildren.

After graduating from Handley High School in 1948, Ofelia went on to lead a fulfilling life of family, work, and community involvement. She will always be remembered for her kind heart, quick wit, and infectious laugh that lit up any room she entered.

The cause of death was natural, and while we mourn her passing, we take comfort in knowing she is now resting in eternal peace. Ofelia will be deeply missed by her family and friends but her legacy will continue to live on through the memories she leaves behind.
