Maxine Scrimshaw LeonardMaxine S. Leonard of Claymont, DE passed away peacefully on September 4, 2017 at the age of 89.Maxine was born on December 19, 1927 in Renovo, PA to Homer and Alice (nee Rankin) Scrimshaw. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Harry, Richard and Robert; and former spouse, Frederick Leonard.She will be deeply missed by her sons, Frederick "Eric" and Douglas of Claymont, DE; daughter, Janice (Rick) Myrick of Hockessin, DE; grandchildren, Curtis Myrick of Greensboro, NC and Erica (Anthony) Raucci of Hockessin, DE; and many nieces and nephews.Friends and family are invited to a visitation at 10 am on Friday, September 22 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1120 Darley Road, Wilmington, DE 19810. A celebration of life will follow at 11 am.
