Mary Watson was born June 22, 1941, in Clarke County, Alabama, the daughter of Tuson Roper and Elester Belle Roper. She was proceeded in death by both parents and one brother, John Lee Roper.

Mary was married on October 2, 1962, and to this union, three children were born. She loved her children dearly. She planted seeds of wisdom and taught her children to trust in the Lord and how to pray.

Catherine leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Robert Watson; two daughters, Michelle Watson and Renee Watson; one son Robert Watson Jr.; four grandchildren, Robert Anthony Watson III, Kai Sheri Watson, Jade Jamar Williams, and Jali Rena Barrett.
