Margaret Frye GrundyAGE: 82 • Elkton, MDMargaret Frye Grundy, age 82, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Season's Hospice at Christiana Care in Newark, DE. She was born on February 3, 1935 in Newark, NJ to the late Benjamin and Doris Hamilton Frye.A 1957 graduate of the University of Delaware, Marg worked as a medical technician at the old Delaware Hospital, and later at Emily Bissel Hospital. Marg later volunteered at the Independence Dogs Charity in Wilmington, DE helping to provide work dogs for the disabled.Marg loved animals of all kinds, and especially enjoyed bird watching. The beach was another place she loved to visit with her family and friends.She is survived by her husband of 60 years, George; son, Steve Grundy and his wife, Amy; daughter, Dana Gilsinger, and her husband, Joe; daughter, Bev Barbush, and her husband, Mike; and sister, Meredith Conlan, and her husband, Dennis; nephews, Kent, Brad, and Wade; and a niece, Megan.A Celebration of Marg's Life will be held at 5 PM on Friday, October 20, 2017 at R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, Inc., 122 West Main Street, Newark, DE 19711. Friends and family may visit beginning at 3PM. Burial will be held privately.
