LT WILLIAM EARL SHAW SR.'S JOURNEY HOME ON MONDAY JANUARY 15TH, 2018, WE SEE AS A NEW BEGINNING, WE CELEBRATE HIS LIFE & THE AMAZING IMPACT HE HAD ON THE LIVES HE TOUCHED AS A FRIEND, A FATHER, A BROTHER, SIGNIFICANT OTHER, & OFFICER.
William's journey of life began March 26th, 1958 born to the parents of Mary Lee Washington Shaw & Earl William Shaw.
William was baptized as a child at Third Baptist Church in Whistler, Al. As a child, he was very active in the Church and in Sunday school. He received his education in Mobile, Al at Ella Grant Elementary, William D. Robbins Middle, and graduated from Mattie T. Blount Highschool. Two years later he graduated number 3 in the Lucedale Police Academy, where he served and dedicated his time to protect and serve for the last 32 years.
Lt. William Earl Shaw Sr. was preceded in death by his late mother, Mary Shaw, and father, Earl William Shaw, his son, William Earl Boykin and his brother, Carl Washington.
He leaves to cherish and celebrate his memory 4 loving children; 2 daughters, Nadia T. Wilson and Ravin Shaw both of Mobile, Al; 2 sons Terry Boykin of Cincinnati, Oh and Brandon Shaw of Mobile, Al; 2 sisters, Gloria Barnwell and Barbara Hudson both of Mobile, Al; 1 brother, Raymond Shaw of Sacremento, CA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends one devoted Michelle Pette of Lucedale, MS.
