Leolia “Tee” was bon December 12, 1955 to the late Willlie Carter and George Mae Starks Chandler.

The confessed hope in Christ  at an early age and joined “Bellvue”  Friendship Baptist Church in Browns, Alabama.  She became church secretary and served faithfully until her departure home.

Leolia Attended Perry County School System. After completion of her school years she worked various jobs. Her final job was with Foster Farms in Demopolis, Alabama. “Tee” enjoyed working at foster Farms and was loved by many of her co-workers. 

 She was united in marriage to James Broadnax an to this union two sons were born.

 She is also preceded in death by one son  Willie James Broadnax Sr.;  three brothers, Albert Starks, Leroy Carter and Willie Carter Jr.

 She leaves to cherish her memories: one son Michael (Denise) Broadnax, Ft Wayne , Illinois ;  four grandchildren,  Delvion Daniels Alanta, Georgia,  Keonyte Broadnax, Greensboro, Alabama Willie James brought next Junior needs her Alabama and they shine white mix of bee Wille James Broadnax Jr., Uniontown, Alabama and Dashawn Broadnax of Bay Minette, Al; seven sisters, Queen (Laymon) Cunningham and Gertrude (Curtis) Washinton , Ft. Wayne, IN, Nacy Carter and Willie Ruth Carter, Akron , OH Minister Lelia Dixie, Marion Junction, Al, Coretta (Samuel) Hudson, and Georgia (Isiah) Hudson; Two brothers , Minister Jerome (Lucy) Carter , Marion Juction , AL and Bennie Carter , Los Angeles, CA; four aunts, Gertrude Timberlak, Dorthy Dixie of Ft. Wayne , IN , Bertha Carter of Uniontown, AL and Catherine Starks of Queens, NY; two great uncles, McArthur Starks, Ft. Wayne, IN, and Bishop Eugene Starks of Ensley, AL and a host of nieces, nephews other ralatives and friends; A special friend, Jensy Warren; and a special cousin, McArthur “Champ” Starks.
