Burial will follow in the KY Veterans Cemetery West. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 9:00 am until 10:00 AM. Jean passed away on Friday, Feb 03, 2017 at Centennial Medical Center. She was born on Oct 22, 1942 in Centrailia, IL to Haroldine and Birt Speer. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and a lifetime member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her husband, RC Paslay, son, Wayne Murphy, and daughter, Marjorie Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Jean Murphy, son, Rob (Robin) Paslay; daughter, four brothers, and three sisters, seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
