Jean Elizabeth ScottCordova, TNJean E. Scott, 85, was reunited with her beloved husband, Jack, on May 13, 2017. They were separated 13 years ago when Jack preceded her in death. They were married on May 21, 1955 and had spent 55 years in a blissful marriage that was celebrated in Pittsburg, PA. During their lives they moved throughout Western PA until the 1960s when they relocated to Akron, Ohio. Retirement led them to Cordova, TN. Together they traveled the nation and world and shared a strong Catholic Faith. Jean was a communicant at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Cordova where she attended daily mass and was active with good friends, as well as the St. Vincent De Paul Society. She was a lay communicant and made visits to homebound members for many years. Jean was the first daughter to be born on August 28, 1931, in Pittsburgh, PA to Andrew and Ann Andrasko. She is survived by her son, Mark Scott, daughter in law, Cheryl of Cordova, TN; a sister, Virginia Zavidny of McKees Rocks, PA; a brother, Jerry (Sue) Andrasko of Saxonburg, PA; two grandsons, Paul (Emily) of Cordova, TN, and Eric of Southaven, MS; great grandson, Jaxon and she also left behind several nieces and nephews. Family will receive guests Tuesday, May 16, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Pkwy Bartlett, TN 38133. A Mass of Resurrection will be Wednesday, May 17, at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi, 8151 Chimney Rock Blvd. Cordova, TN 38017.
