Glenda Haykal, age 79, of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee, passed away on February 16, 2026. She was born on August 9, 1946, to loving parents.

Glenda attended Sequoyah High School, where she graduated in 1965. She went on to further her education at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, graduating in 1970.

In 1969, she married her beloved husband, Abdul Satar Haykal. Together, they had three children, Aaron Shawn Haykal, Ryan Shawn Haykal, and Amel Beth Haykal. Glenda was also a proud grandmother to one grandchild.

Glenda was the owner of The East Ridge Flea Market, where she worked until her retirement in 2015. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, collecting Amethyst Crystals, and spending time with her children and grandson, Avery Shawn Haykal.

She loved going out to eat with friends and family, cooking, baking, and crocheting blankets, mittens, and hats for her loved ones. Most importantly, Glenda had a deep love for Jesus.

Glenda's passing was a result of a Hemorrhagic stroke. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
