A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Ernest was born on September 2, 1929 in Montgomery County, the son of the late Oscar Braxton Felts and Tennie Carline Burney. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Felts; son, Gary Wayne Felts; and brothers, Clarence Felts and Oscar Felts Jr. Ernest was a Corporal in the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War as a rifleman. He loved to fish and was the Owner and Operator of Music City Radiator. He is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Binkley; sister, Lorine Jenkins; grandchildren, Tina (Brian) Barger, Amy (Chris) Wilson, Daniel (Abby) Binkley, and Adam (Katie) Felts; 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
