Eric StansberryClinton, TNJames Eric Stansberry, age 48 of Clinton, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017 in Boston, MA. Eric was born on September 21, 1968 in Johnson City, TN. He was a member of Faith Promise in Knoxville, and also a member of the Windrock ATV Club. Eric was 1986 Oliver Springs High School graduate.Eric was self employed in the pipeline reconstruction business and he most recently worked as a consultant for Rapid Flow of Boston, MA. Eric enjoyed UT Football, four wheeling, rebuilding old cars, motorcycles, Nascar and most of all being home with his family.He is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Stansberry; paternal grandparents, Virgil and Catherine Stansberry; maternal grandparents, Cecil and Artie Mae Clowers.Eric is survived by his wife of 28 years, Amy Stansberry of Clinton; by his mother, Pat Stansberry of Clinton; by children: Erica Copeland and husband, Daniel of Clinton, Erin Garner and husband, Nathan of Knoxville, and Emyle Stansberry of Clinton; by grandchildren: Parker and Paxton Copeland; by a sister, Tracey Thompson and husband, Daryl of Clinton; by a nephew, Matthew Thompson; by a niece, Whitney Thompson and by a special aunt, Mary Ruth Stansberry; and in laws, Charlie and Debbie Clark of Kingston, Jay and Mary Jernigan of Knoxville.The family requests memorials be in the form of donations to Cornerstone Recovery in Louisville, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 24, 2017 between the hours of 3:00-5:00pm at Premier Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs with a funeral service to follow at 5:00pm with Pastor Marty Stooksbury officiating.
