Born on July 8, 1943, she lived a full and vibrant life, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her. Betty was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering faith. She had a passion for gardening, baking, and spending time with loved ones. Her warm smile and infectious laughter will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Betty's memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her. Betty is survied by her two sons Larry Ricketts and Steven Ricketts, Sister Amanda Gomez (Husband Eddie Gomez) and, her three grandchildren Coret Ricketts, Jason Gomez and Harrison Gomez.

Betty set up a savings account in her thirties when she first got diagnosed with cancer. This money was used to pay all funeral costs. Betty wanted to know she was leaving no financial burdens are her loved ones when she passed.
