Douglas RigginsClarksville , TNWilliam Doug Riggins, age 87 of Clarksville, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017 at Tennova Heathcare.Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Will Binkley officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service at the Funeral Home. Douglas was born on February 28, 1930 in Guthrie, KY, son of the late John Henry Riggins and Mary Hogue Riggins. He was retired from the Co-op, and a member of the Spring Creek Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife, Dolly Jean Riggins; second wife, Freda Cohoon Riggins; three brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his daughter, Wanda (Woodrow) Johnson; granddaughter, Angi O'Bryan (Ted) Woosley; great granddaughters, Briana and Ally Woosley; brothers, John (Margaret) Riggins Jr.; sisters, Joyce (Dennis) Collins, Shirley Copeland, Elsie Putnam, Esther Knight, and Diana Jones.
