We gather here today to remember the life of Dorthy Carter, who passed away on June 8, 2025 in Livingston, Tennessee.

Dorthy was born on August 2, 1946 to her parents Bill and Lily Hail. She married the love of her life, James Carter, in 1954 and together they had one daughter, Sue’ann Brown.

Dorthy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a passion for puzzles and could often be found spending hours working on them, always with a smile on her face.

Although she is no longer with us, Dorthy's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Rest in peace, Dorthy Carter. You will be dearly missed.
