Donnie GregoryLaVergne, TNDonnie R. Gregory, age 54, of LaVergne, TN, formerly of Chattanooga, TN, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. A native of Tompkinsville, KY, he was born on December 24, 1962. He was preceded in death by his step-father, James Todd; and father-in-law, Harmen Mitchel. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 6:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna, TN. Rev. Loyd Mabry will officiate. Funeral services will also be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel in Hixson, TN. Rev. Nathan Malone will officiate. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Donnie is survived by his wife of 33 years, Barbara Mitchel Gregory; daughter, Ashley Sisto and her husband Marty and son, Bradley Gregory and his fiancé Justin Jenkins all of Hixson, TN; father, Ray Gregory and his wife Willodean of Portland, TN; mother, Geneva Todd of Woodbury, TN; grandson, Maximus Sisto of Hixson, TN; brothers, Ronnie Gregory and his wife Jody of Nashville, TN, and Jimmy Gregory and his wife Mary Ann of Glasgow, KY; sister, Linda Anderson and her husband Jerry of Glasgow, KY; mother-in-law, Evelyn Mitchel of LaVergne; step-sister, Judy Fish; step-brother, Ricky Todd; along with several nieces and nephews and loving extended family. Donnie was a member of Smyrna First United Methodist Church and was also a member of Burks United Methodist Church in Hixson. He was a 1981 graduate of Gamaliel High School and a 1985 graduate of Western Kentucky University where he received his bachelors degree. Donnie was a CPA and a Financial Manager with Pershing Yoakley & Associates. He cherished his grandson and loved his family very much and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
