Demetrius Sams, age 50, of Jersey City, New Jersey, passed away on May 15, 2024. He was born on July 7, 1973.

Demetrius attended Our Savior Lutheran High School, graduating in 1992. He went on to study at Lakawanna College, where he graduated in 1994.

Throughout his life, Demetrius enjoyed traveling with his wife Nyree, whom he married in 2000. He was a dedicated sports fan, particularly enjoying basketball games and programs.

Demetrius will be remembered for his passion for exploring new places, his love of sports, and his unwavering dedication to God, his family and friends.
