David A Albright Obituary

Aug 08, 1957 - Dec 21, 2024

This obituary is administered by:

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of David A Albright Sr., who was born on August 8, 1957, and peacefully left us on December 21, 2024, in New Castle, Delaware.

David was the beloved son of John Albright, Anna Hodges, and step-father Claude Hodges (all deceased).

He was the loving husbad of Donna S Albright, whom he married July 4th 1980. Together, they were blessed with three children: David A Albright Jr, (preceeded in death December 16,2010), Christopher J Albright, and Amanda N Albright-Bollinger. He was also a proud grandfather to Skylan A Bollinger and Orpha E Bollinger.

David also leaves behind his sister's Elizabeth (Betsy) Doherty and neice Megan Doherty, Donna Sue Forrest and her husband Bill, Mary Kay Robinson and her husband John, and nephews Ryan and Justin Cox.

David spent many years working as a car mechanic, with 20+ years of that time with Sheridan Ford/Nissan. He retired in 2009 due to his health. He still loved to tinker on cars when he could and loved golfing with his friends and step-father and occaisonally fishing. He actually loved driving though parks and wooded areas " looking" for places to fish, more than actually fishing!

David's passing was attributed to respiratory failure due to early onset Dementia. He battled this illness for over 10 years. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Go be with your parents and son. You've been so tired. It's now time to rest.

You can to the family or in memory of David Albright.
