Here lies April Tinney, born on April 6, 1975, in Knoxville, Tennessee. She departed this world on February 20, 2025, after losing a long battle with her dreaded heart issues.
April was a proud alumna of Kingston High School in Oklahoma, where she spent her formative years perfecting the art of avoiding homework and excelling in the cafeteria line. She had a passion for cooking, much to the delight of her husband, Carl J Tinney, who never complained about gaining a few extra pounds from her delicious meals.
Despite her best efforts, April never quite mastered the art of keeping her house plants alive, much to the dismay of her collection of wilting greenery.
She had a knack for finding the humor in everyday situations, often causing Carl to roll his eyes at her corny jokes. April had a unique talent for turning mundane moments into memorable ones, like the time she accidentally set fire to the kitchen while attempting to bake a simple loaf of bread.
Although she never had children of her own, April had a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews, who will fondly remember her as the fun aunt who always had a trick up her sleeve.
As we say goodbye to April Tinney, let us remember her for the laughter she brought into our lives, the delicious meals she cooked for us, and the love she shared with those lucky enough to know her. May she rest in peace, forever cracking jokes and whipping up tasty dishes in the great beyond.
