Andy spent his childhood growing up in the Fredon/Newton area of Sussex County. Where he & his buddies did the things boys do in the late 60's & early 70's. After graduation from high school in 1974 he joined the army (1975) and proudly served his country stationed in Germany.  Returning from the army he lived in south Jersey for many years before moving to Tennessee in 2000. He worked for the Dell Computers in Nashville prior to opening his own computer repair shop (2002) in Maryville, TN.  The shop remained opened until his illness in 2012. 

Surviors include: Colleen Dawson (his love of 20 years) Son : Andrew Carl Simons, III  of Forked River, New Jersey Daughter: Christie Berkery (John) of Keymar, Maryland, Sister: Valerie Ehli (John) of Billings MT. Brother: Douglas Simons of Billings, MT.  4 grandchildren, 1 niece & nephew.  Colleen's children Kara Love (Andrew), Eric Dawson, Megan Dawson & grandchildren Thomas & Isabella of Smyrna, TN, 

Special thanks to Dr. Daniel Kim, Dr. Wally Werner & Dr. Jane Souther for their care & compassion during this most difficult time.  The many nurses and staff on 4 south @ BMH for the many years of care and compassion Millie, Julie, Ashley & Hope and all the others truly are Angels here on earth.
