It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Zachary Mills, born on January 15, 1995, and passed away on August 16, 2024, in Greensboro, North Carolina, United States.

Zachary is survived by his loving father, Taylor Mills joining his older brother Bryan Mills and Susan Wallis in the God’s company. Father of his beloved child, Brailyn Mills. Zachary was a dedicated employee at Supermarket Systems, where he worked until his retirement in 2024. Prior to his time at the supermarket, Zachary served his country with honor as a Sergeant in the 2nd Battalion 1st RR as a sniper and US Army Ranger serving both his country and unit for an impressive 5 years.

Zachary will be remembered for his hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment to his family and country. Earning both a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. His loss will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him.

On August 16, 2024, Zachary tragically took his own life, leaving a void in the hearts of those who cherished and served with him. While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the remarkable life he lived and the profound impact had on those around him.
