Yvette G. Gavin, RN, 71, of Independence, MO passed away November 23, 2016. She was born on October 20, 1945 to Thomas, Sr. and Ruth Gavin in Kansas City, MO. Yvette is preceded in death by her father Thomas Gavin, Sr.; and brothers Thomas, Jr. and Edward Gavin. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Gavin; children Robert Cavanaugh, Jr., Cara Sharp and her son, Chandler, and Christopher Rapp and his wife, Erin and her son, Brady Ruks. Services are private.
