Yancy Carothers, 72, of Aurora, Illinois, passed on April 14, 2023. Yancy was born on April 27, 1951. His parents father Yancy Sr. and mother Cornell preceeded him in death. As well as his sister Nancy, sister Peggy, sister Joyce and brother Donald. He leaves to cherish his memory Daughter Nicole her husband Larry, son Marcus and daughter Carla. Grandkids James, Lanika, Seneal, Akeelah, Abraham, Antwone, Jeremiah, and Joesiah. With a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Yancy was a strong man of God. He loved reading the Bible and educating himself. He did this not only for his benefit but to educate others as well in many aspects of life. Serving several ministries in Churches for many years even from his sick bed. He's done this for Hometown Chicago but many places across the world.

Minister Yancy, father Yancy, brother Yancy, grand father Yancy, uncle Yancy, cousin Yancy, friend Yancy, yes he had many hats. Which he took great pride and time in them all. Yancy showed love thru ministry, if he preach to you, gave you scripture, gave you business ideas, any resources, prayed with you and or took time to talk with you. Count yourself loved by him! Let's remember him for all the happy and lovable times.
