Willie Jean Smith Sr, 71, passed on March 07, 2022. He was born to Eddie Jean Smith and Karen Mae Williams in Long Beach, California on April 01, 1950.

He married Rachel Ann Smith in 1970 and they lived together in Long Beach, California. Together they raised 3 children Willie Jean Smith Jr. (Sheyna Smith), Alicia Mae Jordan (Malachi Jordan ), Anthony Jean Smith. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.

Willie graduated from C.E. Byrd High School in 1967 and received a degree from the UCLA in 1972.

Willie worked at Long Beach City College until he retired in 2007 and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.

Willie served his country for 12 years in the Marine.
