Skaggs, William Ronald "Ron",79, passed away Friday, September 29, 2017.Ron was born on October 8, 1937 in Louisville, to the late Roy and Londa Skaggs. He served our country in the U.S. Air Force, retired from LG&E and was a member of Southeast Christian Church. Along with his parents, Ron is predeceased by his brother, Roy Skaggs, Jr. Here to carry on his memory are his wife of 53 years, Becky; son, James R. Skaggs (Jennifer) and step-son, Larry W. Head (Margie); grandchildren, Jessica and James Skaggs, Larry (Traci), Jeff (Allison) and Todd (Maria) Head; great grandchildren, Tyler, Jared, Ryan, Kayla, Jackson, Gracie, Hudson, and Lanie; and his brother, James Donald Skaggs. Visitation will be from 2 -8pm Wednesday, October 4th at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A service in honor of Ron will be at 10am Thursday, October 5th at the funeral home, with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
