Beloved husband, son in law and good friend

William Hoffman, 60, of Farwell, Michigan, passed away on November 4th, 2024 in Detroit at Karmanos Cancer institute.He was born on October 6th, 1964 in Pennsylvania to Sandy Matrey (deceased) and had a sister CeCe and brother Charlie (both deceased). William was a beloved husband, son in law and friend. William graduated from Milton High school in 1982 and joined the Navy soon after. William lived most of his life in Ocean City Maryland doing construction. William was an avid fisherman and was pro for awhile and ran some charters as well. In December 2011 while visiting his mother in Michigan he met the love of his life Christine Schaeffer and never went back. Billy and Chris were married in 2012 and had several much loved fur babies. William found his second family at the Clare Moose Lodge where he would play keno, darts and pool and tease the wonderful bar maids who became such good friends. William is survived by his wife Chris and his loving mother in law Eileen and so many wonderful friends. William's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday November 16 from 3 to 5 at the Clare Moose Lodge
