Beloved father, veteran of the United States Navy, and cherished friend, passed away on September 14th, 2024 at the age of 71. Born on March 28th, 1953 in New Jersey, he dedicated his life to serving his country and caring for those he loved.
A proud Navy man, William Meggett served with distinction during his time in the military, where his intelligence, resilience, and quick wit made him a valuable member of his unit. Even after his service, his dedication to others was unwavering, and he became a source of wisdom and support to everyone fortunate enough to know him.Those who knew him will remember his sharp sense of humor, his kind heart, and his generosity. He never hesitated to lend a hand to those in need, and his devotion to his children was profound.
He took great pride in being a father, always ensuring his children felt loved, protected, and supported.He leaves behind his partner Cynthia Cazares, his children, Christine Galban and David Meggett, his sibling, Debora Meggett, and many friends. His memory will be cherished by all whose lives he touched.
Those who were lucky enough to call him a friend will remember him for his generosity, strength of character, and warmth. His impact on those around him was profound, and his absence will be felt by many. We invite all of his friends and those who loved him to join us in celebrating his life at a memorial service to be held October 15th 1:00pm at 5795 Nobel Dr San Diego CA, 92122.
