William "Bill" Keller William "Bill" Anthony Keller passed away October 31st after a 7th month battle with pancreatic cancer. Bill fought hard, going through chemo for 6 months. He was born on October 20, 1947 in Detroit Michigan to Henry and Eleanor Keller, and then moved to Glendale, CA when he was 13. He attended Loyola High School and was a dedicated alum. Bill went on to serve our country in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He graduated with his BS from Cal State LA. Bill married his wife, Shannon, in 1972 and was married 44 years. During their life together they were active members of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church and long term residents of La Verne. He coached his sons in baseball and was the President of La Verne Little League for 2 years. Bill worked in real estate and began his own business, Keller Capital, working as a commercial mortgage broker. Bill was a devout Catholic, fisherman, Notre Dame and Angel fan. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family. On the day Bill passed, the family had gathered to harvest Dzia's Dzia's (Polish for grandpa) apple crop from his trees. In light of this the family was blessed to be together when our Lord took him. Bill is survived by his wife, 4 children, 10 grandchildren, and his 2 brothers. He will be greatly missed. Services will be held Thursday, November 10, at 10am at Holy Name of Mary Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Holy Name of Mary School Endowment Fund.
