William Slaughter, 69, of Kingsport, Tennessee, passed away on September 19, 2024. Born on October 26, 1954, William was a beloved member of the community known for his kind heart and friendly demeanor. He was a dedicated worker, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. William had a passion for music and could often be found playing his guitar or singing at local events. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, his memory living on through the music he loved and the kindness he showed to others. Preceeded in death by his parents Billy and Lucille(Stevens)Slaughter; his brothers Larry, and Christopher, and son Matthew. Survived by his sons Michael, Brian and Brent Slaughter. He is also survived by many grandchildren. Carter Trent Funeral Home of Kingsport will be conducting the cremation services.
