"You will always be our Hero" William Horne, 83, of Loveland Colorado, passed away suddenly October 24, 2016. "Bill" Horne was born on May 27, 1933 in Richmond, Indiana married than moved to Colorado to attend CSU to receive his G.E.D. William Horne married Mary Black on June 12, 1952, and together they went on having four children. Also in 1952 he left for the Army, fighting in the Korean War. 1950-1953 in the 2nd infantry Division. Receiving awards later in life. William Horne is survived by his four Children, Peggy Horne, Eddie Horne, Judy Godbey, and William Horne. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. William Horne worked as a printing operator for a local phone book company, worked at Colorado Crystal, volunteered as a Loveland police officer. He also loved hand radio operating, flying remote control airplanes, panning for gold, collecting coins, meeting with the members of the
VFW for breakfasts, and sharing stories about his time in the Korean War. His wife Mary Horne passed away after battling cancer November 27, 2015 in her home surrounded by family. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends. We thank god for the gift of his life and the blessings of the time we spent with him.
