Lamberg, William H.William H. Lamberg, age 75, a Manitowoc resident, died Friday, November 11, 2016 at Maritime Gardens, Manitowoc.Bill was born on September 13, 1941 in Green Bay, WI, son of the late Harris and Gladys (Powers) Lamberg. He was a graduate of Green Bay East High School with the class of 1960 and then received his Bachelors Degree in Business from Milton College. On July 29, 1967 he married the former Laurie Laird at Grace Lutheran Church in Green Bay. Bill worked in finance for various companies in the Green Bay and Manitowoc areas, retiring as partner for Voyager Financial Group in 2010. He was very active in the First Kiwanis Club and was elected Governor for the Wisconsin and Upper Michigan district. Bill also received the Kiwanis International award for outstanding Governorship. He was on the Board of Directors of the Manitowoc Senior Center and was instrumental in the building of the new Senior Center. Bill was the chair of the building and fund-raising committee for St. Paul Lutheran Church for their renovation project. He was also the past executive director at the Capital Civic Center, Manitowoc.Survivors include his wife: Laurie Lamberg, Manitowoc; two daughters and sons-in-law: Karin and Philipp Strazny, Manitowoc, Erin and Brandon Yoemans, Red Wing, MN; one son and daughter-in-law: Ryan and Jennifer Lamberg, St. Cloud, MN; eight grandchildren: Isabel, Max, Mia and Annika Strazny, Sophia and Benjamin Yoemans, Evan and Ella Lamberg; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Ruth and John Nelson, De Forest, WI, Nancy and Glenn Shelley, Appleton; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Tom and Pat Lamberg, Combine Locks, Rich and Shirley Lamberg, Pound, WI; three sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law: Bonnie Laird, Bloomington, MN, Benjamin and Mary Jane Laird, Green Bay, and William and Peggy Laird, Green Bay. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was also preceded in death by one sister-in-law: Paula Lamberg.Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Dr. Matthew Sauer with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:15 a.m.Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family by visiting
