William J. Givison, Jr.Pleasant Valley - William J. Givison, Jr. (affectionately known as "Billy"), 52, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the Northeast Center for Rehabilitation in Lake Katrine, NY after a long illness.He was born on April 21, 1965 in Poughkeepsie and was the son of Sharon E. (Fisher) and William J. Givison, Sr. Billy was a lifelong resident of Pleasant Valley and attended Arlington Schools.He was employed by IBEW Local 363 in New City, NY.As a young boy, Billy loved to build BMX bikes and loved watching The Flintstones. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, and camping. He was also interested in classic cars. Billy will be remembered for his sense of humor and always having a story to tell. He was happiest just being a homebody.Billy is survived by his wife, Karla Padovano Givison; his children: William J. Givison, III, Tyler J. Givison, and Briana L. Givison, all of Pleasant Valley; and his parents, Sharon and William Givison, Sr., also of Pleasant Valley.He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Louise and George Fisher, and paternal grandparents, Evelyn and John Givison.In keeping with Billy's wishes, there are no calling hours.
