William C. Gearhart , 83, of Ohio, Illinois, passed on June 02, 2023. William was born on October 23, 1939 at Urbana Mercy Hospital.

William graduated from South Highschool in Columbus, OH 1957. He went on to study Electrical Engineering at Ohio State University for 4 years. After Graduating from college, William chased his dreams to become a peace corps where he met his wife, Marlene Gearhart. Together they had 3 children, Angela, Jennifer and, Bill.

William loved spending time in the kitchen with his wife Marlene cooking meals together for the family, and often having cookouts every summer. William was a very supportive grandfather and would often visit his grandchildren during the weekends. William Was known for his big heart and would always provide love and support even in the toughest situations. William was a big baseball fan and loved going to live games of Ohio bobcats, where he had taken his grandson Jacob savage, to a game back in Feb.23 2018 where they faced the Maine Black Bears.

William C. Gearhart leaves to cherish memories, his 3 loving children Jennifer Gearhart, Bill Gearhart, Angela Savage, Wife Marlene Gearhart and 3 Grandchildren: Jacob Savage, Cornell Savage, Samantha Savage.
