Warren Miller was born on October 8, 1943 in Innisfail, Alberta. He was raised on the family farm in the Markerville area. After completing high school, Warren worked at the Chrysler plant in Red Deer until returning to help on the family farm. At this time he took a job as a carpenter, which turned into a lifelong career, along side of farming. In the fall of 1974, Warren and his wife Vivian moved to their own farm, where they raised their 3 loving children. During these years Warren was involved with the Markerville Curling club and the local Dairy/Sheep 4-H. On retirement, he enjoyed rebuilding his Model A, starting a tree farm, and his involvement with the Medicine River Watershed. Due to health reasons, Warren and Vivian moved to Innisfail where they continued to enjoy family and friends until his passing, on June 7, 2015, at the age of 71.He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Vivian; his children Tammy (Glen), Kelly, and Erin (Sherry); sister Marilynn, brother Wendle (Ilene); sister in laws Evelyn Buettner and Marie Gueguen and brother in law Lou (Betty) Gueguen.Warren was predeceased by his parents Warren (Roy) and Alice Miller, father and mother in law Joe and Mary Gueguen and brother in laws Alvin Buettner and Alex Gueguen.A memorial tea will be held on Friday June 19, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:30 pm at the Markerville Hall.
