Walter Swopshire, lovingly known to her family and friends as Wally, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2023, at the age of 69 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Wally was born on January 22, 1954, to proud parents Walter Radford and Lillie Mae Radford. She was blessed with three children who gave her endless joy and love: Lee (married to Pookie), Larry, and Michael Lawrence. She was a doting grandmother to four grandchildren who were the light of her life.

Wally spent many years working at Riverbend Nursing Home, where she touched the lives of many people with her kindness and compassion. She will always be remembered for her unwavering dedication to the well-being of others.

Although Wally's passing has left a void in the lives of those who loved her, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. We take solace in knowing that she is reunited with her loved ones who went before her.

Rest in peace, Wally. You will be missed by us all.
