DONALD, Walter R. Age 69 of Hamilton passed away on Friday October 14, 2016. He was born on October 9, 1947 in Hamilton the son of the late William and Lola Mae (Brockman) Donald. On April 24, 1981 in West Chester he married the love of his life Linda Stevens. Walter was a nine year
veteran of the
United States Navy working as a diesel mechanic and a minesweeper. He loved being on the road as a career truck driver. He also loved fishing and turkey hunting. He is survived by his loving wife of over 35 years Linda Donald; three children Crystal Glass, Melinda (John) Ruebel, and James Cox; six grandchildren Levi, Derrick, Dustin, Ashley, Shelby, and Jennie; Six great grandchildren Shane, Alyssa, Cheyenne, Kaylee, Alex, and Abel; and one sister Brenda (Homer) Stevens. He is also leaves behind two special friends Dr. Scott Grevey and Todd Costa and his brother in law Homer Stevens who he was very close with as well as many nieces, nephews, and other close friends and family. Visitation will be Monday October 17, 2016 from 4pm-8pm at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield. Funeral service will be 12NOON Tuesday October 18, 2016 at the funeral home with Rev. Joann Snyder officiating. Burial to follow with full military honors in Rose Hill Burial Park.
