It is hard, at best, to try and write an obituary, let alone write one about someone you wanted to know your whole life, but never did. He did love the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He had the ability to make a friend in everybody and was always ready to give a helping hand to those who needed it. He had three children who he did love. Jessica Foley, Alberta (Andrew Ross), Sarah Whitten, Nova Scotia (Colin Christian) and Kayla Whitten, Ontario. He also had two grandchildren, Benjamin and Norah (Sarah Whitten).

A private service will be held in 2020. We hope that wherever you are, the world doesn't seem as heavy.
