Virginia Kathleen McComas, 91, of Salisbury, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016, at the Laurels of Salisbury. She was born on Oct. 7, 1925, in Hamlin, W. Va., to the late Austin Harless and Reba Humphries Harless. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Dianna Lynn and her husband Darnell. She is survived by her children, David McComas (Alice), Linda Schaffer (Ernie), and Danny McComas (Dianna); grandchildren, Julia Savage (Kevin), Kellie Lynn Dreher, Vickie Brennen, Kathy Martin (Bill), Robby Dreher (Holly), Daniel McComas (April), Dawn Hunter (Jonathan), Richard Schaffer, Robert Schaffer, and Tracy Schaffer; great-grandchildren, Sean, Kaela, Stephanie, Kelsey, Matthew, Madison, Alexander, Jake Henry, Lindsay, Mary, Taylor, Dakota, Miranda, Zachary, and Elise; and one great-great-grandchild, Naomi Jewell.
