Virginia Lee TravisanoSimi ValleyVirginia was born on a small farm in Weston, WV January 15, 1933. She excelled in school and was married to William "Ernie" Montgomery from 1950-1964 and together they had one daughter. In the mid 50's the 3 of them moved to California.During her lifetime she held many occupations including Police Dispatcher, Employment Office owner-operator, Restaurant owner-operator and Antiques-Collectable store owner. In 1976 she married Louis Travisano and in 1978 they relocated to Prescott, AZ where she remained until 2007 when poor health brought her to Simi Valley to live with her daughter and son in law. She loved life, learning and family.Virginia was preceded in death by her parents Wilsie Mae and Roscoe Taylor, siblings Joann, Betty Lou, Patty Jean, James, Raymond Kent and ex husbands William Montgomery and Louis Travisano.Virginia is survived by her daughter and son in law Vickie and Paul T. Ott Sr., grandchildren Jenny Ott, Paul Jr. (Christine) Ott, William (Lucy) Ott and 5 great grandchildren Dylan, Chad, Matthew, James and Alyssa. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and friends all over the country.The last 2 years of her life she was cared for by St. Paul's LLC in Simi Valley. Our family wants to thank her wonderful caretakers Lily and Chris for taking such loving care of her. Thank you to Norma Zanders who walked us through every step, you are very much appreciated.Per her request there will be no funeral but a celebration of life will be planned with family and friends.A life well lived! We love you Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, Mentor & Friend.
