LaRose, VirginiaVirginia LaRose, 94, De Pere, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Rennes Health and Rehab Center in De Pere. The daughter of the late Michael and Clara (Surma) Nowakowski was born on March 21, 1922 in Detroit. Virginia married Philip LaRose in Detroit on September 5, 1942. Philip preceded her in death on November 4, 2006. She cared and loved her family so much. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her daughter Carolyn (John) Chandik, grandson, Scott (Marivic) Chandik, granddaughters, Amy (Andy) Kundinger and Marcy (Brett) Libby, great grandchildren Mae, Bella, and Alex Chandik; Mason, Joanna, and Rose Libby; and Arlo and Alden Kundinger.In addition to her parents and husband, Virginia was preceded in death by her daughter Cynthia. Family and friends may visit at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Drive, Allouez, on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 9:30am until 10:45am. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with Bishop Robert Morneau officiating. Entombment will be in Allouez Catholic Mausoleum. Online condolences may be expressed at
