Viola Wilson, 86, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 in Yuma, AZ. She was born on June 17, 1927 in Wewoka, OK. She was known throughout the community of Yuma, AZ as a minister of JEHOVAH God. In the Bible at Matthew 24:14, our savior Jesus gave one part of the sign of the last days in this statement, "And this good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." When these words reached Viola's heart, she realized that she wanted to be part of this life saving work. Since her baptism as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on January 10, 1970, she happily spent countless hours showing personal concern for others by sharing her knowledge of the Bible, encouraging many to study Gods Word and be baptized, so they could share in God's wonderful promise of paradise earth. Viola had unwavering faith in the promised resurrection spoken of at John 5:28-29. When she hears the voice of Jesus calling her back from her place of rest, may all her dearly loved family and many friends be there to welcome her back. Viola was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie G. Gulley and Mattie Lou Gulley; sister, Hattie Bell Peoples; brother, Hubert James Gulley; husband, James Wilson; sons, Paul and Jerry Wilson. She is survived by her brother, Ollie Gee Gulley of Texas; sisters, Marcella Wilks, Millie Jackson, Alberta Harmon, Helen Gulley, Mattie Jones and Doretha Gordon, all of Oklahoma; sons, Craig Wilson and Mark Wilson; daughters, Martha Menta and Pamela Wilson; 9 grand children; and 6 great grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1051 S. Avenue A, Yuma, AZ. Please sign the guestbook at
