She was born on December 11, 1921 the daughter of Joshua and Alta Dickerson. She married Jessie J. Hamilton who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church in Dunkirk, Indiana and the Landmark Baptist Church in Florida. She retired from Armstrong after 30 years of service.Surviving relatives include two daughters, Nancy C. Hamilton and Shirley Long (husband, Richard) both of Dunkirk, IN; one son, Morris Edward Hamilton of Hartford City, IN and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, great- great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters Anna Shanyfelt , Marsha Ewers and three brothers and three sisters and one grandson.Funeral services will be closed for family only at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Jay County Hospice.
