Vincent James Witte, affectionately known as Vinny, passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 82. He was born on February 11, 1942, in Clear Spring, Maryland, and spent his final years in Williamsport, Maryland.

Vinny was a dedicated agriculture teacher at Clear Spring High School, where he inspired countless students with his passion for farming and the environment. Outside of his professional life, he was a devoted family man who cherished spending time with his loved ones. He is survived by his two children, Vicki Ann Witte-Shafer and Vincent Paul Witte, as well as his beloved grandchildren, Katie-Ann Louise Shafer and Travis James Shafer.

An avid gardener and fisherman, Vincent found joy in nurturing plants and enjoying the tranquility of nature. He was a God-fearing man, known for his positivity and willingness to help others. His commitment to his faith was evident in his regular attendance at church, rain or shine, where he connected with his community.

Vincent Witte leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and a deep appreciation for family and the simple joys of life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
