We are gathered here today to celebrate the life of Vernessa Rogers, who passed away on August 4, 2024, in Greenville City, South Carolina. She was born on February 15, 1969, to her loving parents Sammie Lee Rogers and Barbara Anna Rogers.

Vernessa was a beloved mother to her two children, Akhari M. Rogers and Alexis L. Rogers. She was also a doting grandmother to her one cherished grandchild.

Vernessa was known for her infectious laughter, her love of good food, and her unwavering devotion to her family. She always had a kind word and a warm hug for those in need, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the local animal shelter in Vernessa's memory, as she had a soft spot for furry friends in need.
