Today we say goodbye to Verline Johnson, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother who was born on September 4, 1957, in Monticello Arkansas and transitioned to her heavenly home on April 27, 2025 surrounded by family.

Verline was the beloved daughter of Mack and Bettie Wright, and mother to Jerome Johnson (who all preceeded her in death). She leaves behind her daughter Tameica Johnson ,grandson Xavier Johnson, neice Carolina Meadows, sisters Claire Jones, Joyce ann Wright, Vernestine Garrett brothers Robert earl WRight, Jhnny Mack Wight, Joe Wright, Samuel Wright and a host of neices and nephews including RIck and Lapreace Spires who unselfishly committed their home and hearts to make her final days full of love and peace.

Verline was known for her fierce love for family,She was a force to be reckoned with on the dance floor and never turned down a good night surrounded by family.

Although she may be gone, Verline’s spirit lives on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, signature chocolate fried rice, and ability to always find the humor in any situation.

Rest in peace, Verline. We know you’re up there cracking jokes, and smiling brightly with all those who have gone before you. Until we meet again TeeTee.
